About me

In my most recent role as a Content Manager at Torch, a leadership coaching startup, I collaborated with product managers, product designers, and other internal stakeholders on my mission to help customers and coaches use and adopt the professional development platform. Before my time at Torch, I advanced to Lead Technical Writer at Cvent, where I created product documentation focused on guiding customers in using the event management software.

At Torch, I owned and evolved the Help Center, developed knowledge base articles, documented new features, created release notes and launch announcements, and crafted in-product copy that improved the end-user experience. An expert project juggler and prioritization pro, I also maintained an interactive product demo and built scalable frameworks for customer education, enabling Go-To-Market teams to successfully support and expand customers' coaching programs. 

As the sole technical writer at the company, I'm especially proud of implementing the "Torch Content Standard" for product documentation, leading a platform-wide content sunset initiative as part of a transition to a next-generation user interface, and redesigning the Help Center to improve content discoverability and align with a brand relaunch.

I can't help but get excited at the prospect of learning about something new, venturing into the development silo to test, or having an exploratory "What's the problem you're trying to solve and how can content help?"  conversation with a colleague. There's nothing more delicious (other than French toast for breakfast) than ultimately turning all those nitty gritty details and nuances into a seemingly effortless map that can guide any reader to their desired destination.
